Rustic Modern Guest Bedroom Furniture
We wanted to give our guests a truly luxurious experience. The star of the guest bedroom is our scalloped metal bed, offering a full king-size haven of coziness so that everyone could fit comfortable as if they're at home. The oiled bronze bobbin rails fuse rustic style with contemporary design. We mixed plaid and floral patterned throw pillows in rust, gray, and forest green hues alongside neutral, textured linens for an ultra plush, layered feel.
Complementing the metal bed, we placed a natural rattan side table bedside. This nightstand is unique as it gives the illusion of flowing fabric with its organic, feminine shape. Our favorite Luca table lamp sits atop, giving the perfect rustic touch to this refined space.
Linen Black Out Drapery in the Guest Room
A feature in our guest suite that we'd be remiss to exclude—the elegant TWOPAGES linen drapes that adorn the windows. We chose the Lacey linen curtains in fog gray. The pinch pleat header style adds a touch of sophistication, creating a timeless look that perfectly complements the luxurious ambiance of the space. Each single panel showcases the meticulous craftsmanship that TWOPAGES is renowned for. What sets these drapes apart is the blackout thermal lining, ensuring a darkened room for that perfect hotel-like experience.

Vintage Modern Guest Bathroom
It's details, details, details again in the guest bathroom, and I couldn't choose a favorite if I tried! I wanted this room to feel just as luxurious as the bedroom. This bathroom has a double-door entrance so guests can enter from their room or directly from the hallway.
Vintage-inspired Bathroom Vanity
The guest bathroom vanity was so much fun to design. For one, this cute little cabinetry was made to look like a found piece, but its faux drawers actually open up door-style to have great open storage and then has bottom drawers below. The scalloped backsplash swoops up to meet the oval shape of this mirror. It's such a pretty, feminine moment with the brass Darla sconce flanking either side of the mirror.
Unlaquered Brass Faucet & Plumbing
We mimicked the vintage-inspired unlaquered brass faucet on the vanity, and incorporated exposed plumbing in the frameless glass shower. And we had to bring the Calcutta Viola in one more time with this jaw-dropping shower. This incredible purple-veined tile paired with the complementing hex tile we ran through the entire bathroom floor made for such a wow moment!
This is so weird, but one of my favorite things (I know, I know, they can't all be my favorite, but they are) is the little toilet flush lever. The cross design is super cute, and you're going to want one too as soon as you see it!
There you have it, folks—a sneak peek into the vintage modern guest bedroom suite at Black Oak. Stay tuned for more reveals from our Black Oak project!
